This was tweeted out by @veronica. And I, as a Star Wars fan thought it was hilarious.

I noticed that I hadn't opened up commenting on my posts, therefore requiring that you create an account.
Posterous claims they have partnered with "an industry-leading comment-spam fighting platform" so I am hoping to keep comments open. I won't close them off unless I get an overwhelming amount of spam.
Stop lurking, comment now...

The last post would not be complete without a link to the first episode of season 2.

Yes, I am a geek. And I play computer games. And I play [pause for effect] World of Warcraft.
I am by no means a "hardcore" gamer. I like play when I have some free time. Also, my co-workers play, so it is often the topic of conversation at lunch.
Anyway, I've started watching "The Guild" last season and found it to be funny and sometimes painfully accurate. Here is a clip of an interview of Felicia Day, star of "The Guild," on NPR's Day to Day.

I've taken a couple of personality tests in my day and have always scored as an introvert. More specifically, I've pretty much always scored INTJ (Introverted, Intuitive, Thinking, Judging).
Usually this is the result of taking a really long quiz and answering questions.
I just discovered Typealyzer (http://www.typealyzer.com). It is in Beta, but their claim is that they can figure out what personality type the author of the blog is. I found this interesting because it didn't require any quizzes on my part and it analyzes stuff I've already written. So I ran a couple of tests to see what the results were.
First up, my personal blogs http://stevennez.com and http://snez.posterous.com (which scored the same)
ESTP? Really? I'm gonna assume that when I actually have a topic to write about and think about how I am gonna present it, I can come off as extraverted. Interesting.
Second test, I ran the URL for my twitter feed and go a more expected ISTJ. I am not sure how the sensing as opposed to intuitive got in there.
What is your blog type? http://www.typealyzer.com

by Jeff Shaara
I am a huge fan of Shaara. I've read just about all of the books he has put out. I am about halfway through the book and I am really liking it. This book is the second book with the third book currently in the works. I really hope Shaara continues his trend of writing about the major wars and the people involved on the ground. I look forward to a book about the Korean War and Vietnam War.

Next week is Thanksgiving and the official start of this year's holiday season.
I am really looking forward to visiting with family. My brothers and I will be making the drive back home.
Some of my favorite things about Thanksgiving:

That's just not right...
Unfortunately that's what I get for living in a desert. Not that I am complaining TOO much. I would rather have warmer weather than cold all of the time.
So this is my initial post to posterous. I am a professional web developer in Southern Arizona and have joined just about every social network imaginable. Recently I've given up the Facebook habit though. I am really excited about the capabilities here (especially the flickr integration) so I am gonna give this a try and may suggest it to some fellow recovering Facebook addicts.
I have a primary blog at http://stevennez.com where I blog about web design and development topics. I will more than likely house my personal blog here (for family and friends).
That's about it for now, stay tuned for more.
