Figuring out personality type based on blog content?
I've taken a couple of personality tests in my day and have always scored as an introvert. More specifically, I've pretty much always scored INTJ (Introverted, Intuitive, Thinking, Judging).
Usually this is the result of taking a really long quiz and answering questions.
I just discovered Typealyzer (http://www.typealyzer.com). It is in Beta, but their claim is that they can figure out what personality type the author of the blog is. I found this interesting because it didn't require any quizzes on my part and it analyzes stuff I've already written. So I ran a couple of tests to see what the results were.
First up, my personal blogs http://stevennez.com and http://snez.posterous.com (which scored the same)
ESTP? Really? I'm gonna assume that when I actually have a topic to write about and think about how I am gonna present it, I can come off as extraverted. Interesting.
Second test, I ran the URL for my twitter feed and go a more expected ISTJ. I am not sure how the sensing as opposed to intuitive got in there.
